Time Machine 03:32
Your face is like a time machine I've been loving you, for a long, long time And if I could choose my dreams I would dream of you, all night Darling when I am not with you I am lonesome and Wondering what to do, with my afternoon Trying to sail a ship without a crew well, you won't find land I am in the middle of the blue Wont you come back soon Wont you come back soon! When you're away I confess It isn't me at my best I get the basics wrong I count the day 'til you come home I made a terrible Meal for one last night I ate way too much rice I didn't get the flavours right I thought I'd treat myself To your least favourite show I stayed up far too late I watched too many episodes It's good to spend time apart Absence is good for the heart But I'm plenty fond enough Come back home I need your love! Darling when I am not with you I am lonesome and Wondering what to do, with my afternoon Trying to sail a ship without a crew well, you won't find land I am in the middle of the blue Wont you come back soon Wont you come back soon!

100 hours from now 100 hours from now This will be done and what went on Will still play out, through time Images flood the mind What strange things will we find When the river dries When the river dries Old shoe, shape shift, say what happened here say what happened here Old shoe, shape shift, say what happened here Oh life, being so ill defined when we were camping out there on the borderline and we would spend the night trying to make some sense, having our different dreams and wondering what they meant and we'd arise to sounds of clattering from the pans that brought the matter in anyway, anyway back in the ring where all the blows are dealt if you stop to think that's when the pain is felt so maybe you stay on your feet and you duck and you dive but when all your juice is gone and you're just pips and rind are you surprised to find you're suffering or surprised that you're not suffering anyway, anyway you play it for pain or you you play for laughs there are as many ways as there are autographs and when you sign you name there on the pleading page the paper will never say what it can never say it wont say what happened here wont ever say what happened here it wont say what happened here can't ever say anyway anyway some unnameable part some unnameable part somewhere inside works day and night among its tasks it must sift through all the dust and tell ourselves back to us with whatever it can find across this vast expanse of life

I woke in the night I woke in the night Oh and you were Oh and you were By my side By my side Oh but when did you get home? I've been fast asleep You must have been discreet Very well done indeed I woke in the night I woke in the night Go back to sleep Go back to sleep

Panther 05:04
That was a panther you let inside Quick let it out you'll be eaten alive Ghost of a panther sulks on the stairs Better a ghost than a horrible mess Cool pool of water, sun dappled cliff Mouse on the stem of a flower that's adrift Every petal granting a wish Every breath is a chance to exist What are the hopes that you're hoping? What are the things that went wrong? How have you been coping? What did you know all along? And what did you learn from the panther at breakfast? What did you learn from the mouse clinging tight? What did you learn from being so reckless? And if it's well earned, can we do what we like? And if it's well earned, can we do what we like?

Breathe, breath of the leaves Leaves of the tree tops Blow, blow on the tea Tea that is too hot Soft light of the clouds Clouds hide the sun Sun seeks you out Out of it all All that's below Blow on the tea Tea is for taking a moment To see what's going on. Breathe, breath of the leaves Leaves of the tree tops Top, top of the morn Morn for you lost crops Crops cover the world World in a spin Spin round the sun Sun seeks you out Out of it all All that's below Low is a feeling we all know From time to time In our lives In our lives In our lives It's a nuanced light When you're spinning right Around the sun Readily we'll remedy this problem Readily, and steadily We'll see what can be done And if the mad man of Naranath can Push that rock, to the top And laugh as it rolls down The mighty mountain Then maybe I just Made too much fuss Of nothing And if the mad man of Naranath can Push that rock, to the top And laugh as it rolls down The mighty mountain Then maybe I just Made too much fuss Of nothing And if the mad man of Naranath can Push that rock, to the top And laugh as it rolls down The mighty mountain Then maybe I just Made too much fuss Of nothing

Begin Again 02:13
Begin again with a warm cup of cider With a rum lime and ginger beer mix At a mismanaged dance competition On a dance floor of mud and sticks Begin again with a new silver jacket By a small hill of bags that we built With precarious jutting out guy ropes And a series of drinks being spilt "Though we live in a world that dreams of ending and always seems about to being Something that will not acknowledge conclusion Insists that we forever begin" Begin again and your past will come with you Like a back story you must unpack Like when there's a candle that's burning and you are fashioning shapes from the wax Like when there's a candle that's burning and you're fashioning shapes from the wax

about

Anyway, Anyway pulls in many directions taking inspiration from Folk, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Pop and Electronic music. Moving through different combinations of the vocalists, as well as different approaches to recording and mixing, House of Keys allow each song to take its own shape and take you on a journey that they hope will be at least one of the following: enjoyable, unpredictable, cathartic, life-affirming, worth 34 minutes of your time.

The roots of this album are in the 2016 album 'Seasalter' by Dominic Conway. Dominic says

"As soon as we'd finished Seasalter I wanted to get started on another album. Many of the songs came about soon after releasing Seasalter, but it took ages to find the right moment to get into a studio and finally record them, not to mention choosing a band name! Miriam and Adam returned to form the core of this new line up and we were delighted to welcome Clare, Sam and Enrico who have given so much love and creativity to this project.

It was wonderful recording with Seb, who has also been instrumental in helping us find the sound and shape of this album.

Many thanks to everyone who has supported me with my song writing, particularly to everyone who shared their love for the Seasalter album and encouraged us to keep going.

Special thanks to James Conway and Zoe Conway for all their work behind the scenes keeping me together and keeping me moving!"
